Kim Gillespie In 1970, at the age of 13, Kim Gillespie began his career learning the craft of making fine jewelry. His father, Thomas Gillespie, taught him the fundamentals of gold-smithing. Kim had a true talent... an eye for art and
design. His teachers and friends took notice of his special talents quite
early. After receiving an Art scholarship for his drawings, sketches and
watercolors, Kim chose jewelry design as his primary means of expression. The store, Gillespie Jewelers, opened as a one man operation
in 1983. Kim Gillespie performed
custom work for the trade…meaning, designing pieces for many local fine jewelry establishments with
retail pricing. In time Kim
realized his talents would better serve the public and his interests by giving the
general public exceptional quality in custom
jewelry, loose diamonds and
gemstones at prices far below retail. In his North Dallas
office Kim worked long and tedious hours building a name
for himself, selling loose diamonds and making one of a kind custom jewelry. In October of 1992, we opened the retail location in Addison's Spectrum Center. You are welcome to stop by our office anytime to Meet Kim Gillespie.
Gillespie Jewelers is built, almost entirely, on customer
referrals, fair pricing and exceptional craftsmanship. We give sincere thanks to our loyal clientele. |
